TRIP TO POLAND 2026 - 11TH EDITION

We are proud to announce that the 11th edition of Trip to Poland, organised by Medical Poland, will take place at the end of March 2026.

This unique initiative is designed for Guidance Counsellors and aims to provide first-hand insight into medical education in Poland, one of Europe’s leading destinations for students pursuing degrees in Medicine and other healthcare fields.

Strengthening international academic collaboration

From 30th March to 1st April 2026, participants will take part in a structured educational visit to two leading medical universities located in Łódź and Bydgoszcz.

The programme includes:

  • visits to the Medical University of Łódź (UMED)
  • visits to Collegium Medicum, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Bydgoszcz (CM UMK)
  • meetings with university representatives and academic staff
  • access to modern teaching hospitals and clinical facilities
  • insight into international student life and academic expectations

This experience allows participants to explore both the academic excellence and the practical aspects of studying medicine in Poland.

Poland - a trusted destination for medical education

Poland continues to grow in popularity among international students. Currently, approximately 300 Irish students are studying at the universities included in this programme, highlighting the country’s strong reputation in medical education.

A programme that goes beyond a visit

Trip to Poland is more than just a study visit - it is a comprehensive educational experience combining:

  • professional development for Guidance Counsellors
  • exploration of academic pathways in healthcare
  • cultural immersion and insight into student life
  • networking opportunities with universities and the Medical Poland team

Previous editions of the programme have been highly successful, offering valuable perspectives on both the academic quality and cultural richness of Poland.
